Shaping Resilient Supply Chains Together: JIECANG's 6th Global Supplier Conference

On June 28-29, JIECANG hosted its 6th Global Supplier Conference themed "Internal Strength, Deep Collaboration, Global Vision, Agile Response". Over 200 key suppliers gathered with company leadership to share insights and discuss future supply chain strategies.

Driving Global Growth with Aligned Strategy

President Lu outlined JIECANG's strong performance across all business units. The company leads the global market in standing desk systems, expanding healthcare solutions in Europe and North America, and achieving steady growth in emerging segments such as industrial actuators, adjustable bed frames, shading motors, wheelchair actuator systems, electric towbar system, and robotic core components.

The company's global manufacturing network continues to expand, with steady ramp-up in Malaysia and the recent launch of the Hungary facility. Lu also emphasized key achievements, including National Champion in Specialized Manufacturing, iF Design Award, participation in new industry standards, and the establishment of a PhD research center.

To address global uncertainties, JIECANG has developed dedicated response plans and set ambitious two-year growth targets. Lu called on suppliers to focus on five core values—quality, cost, delivery, cooperation, and initiative—and emphasized strict anti-bribery and compliance standards.

Assistant President Sun also outlined supply chain improvements in risk control, supplier integration, and SQE management. Going forward, JIECANG will focus on building overseas supply capabilities, a shared global supplier pool, and a digitalized supply chain.

In addition, leaders from all business units, procurement, and quality teams outlined their priorities for supplier collaboration, providing clear direction for deeper supplier partnerships.

JIECANG recognized 25 suppliers for their outstanding performance in 2023-2024, presenting five awards: Excellent Supplier (9), Outstanding New Supplier (3), Continuous Improvement (9), Quality Excellence (3), and Rising Star (1).

These awards reflect mutual growth and shared commitment to excellence.

Chairman Hu closed the conference by thanking all suppliers for their continued support and partnership. He reaffirmed JIECANG’s commitment to its strategy of synergistic and diversified growth, built on core actuator and control technologies. With global leadership in electric standing desks, JIECANG positions itself not as a competitor but as an enabler for its partners.

Hu encouraged suppliers to explore broader cooperation with multiple business units, stressing the importance of collaborative innovation. With 5%+ annual investment in R&D, JIECANG is committed to innovation and long-term value creation. He also stressed that integrity, transparency, and contract compliance are non-negotiable in all partnerships.

On Day 2, the focus shifted to capability building, with supply chain expert Gong Xunwei delivering a keynote on global trends and agile strategies. In the face of uncertainty, he emphasized collaborative efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency, streamline inventory management and enable fast, flexible fulfillment.
